Strawberry Fields is a Vermont homegrown company that began in 1979 when its founder, Lary Budnick decided to one day pick fresh strawberries at a local farm in Georgia, Vermont. In love with these red-ripe and bursting with natural sweetness berries, he soon discovered that he had picked an entire 21 cubic foot freezer full.
Having always been involved with good health, he decided to share his new found wealth of strawberries with customers and friends at the county fair. Back then it was a handcrafted stand built at his place of work, the carpenter's shop at the Shelburne Museum.
People were intrigued with the creative fruit shakes and cups of fruit, thus, much like Ben & Jerry's, a business was born. We are now famous for three smoothie blends:
The world famous Strawberry Fields that consists of fresh oj, strawberry and banana. The fit for king or queen papaya royale which contains papaya, strawberry and banana, and lastly the creamy and rich tropical delight consisting of coconut, pineapple and banana. Alternative names for the same blends are: Strawberry Trip, Papaya Moon-Passion and Rainforest Exotica. Our fruit cups contain fresh-cut watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, pineapple, orange and strawberry all arranged attractively in a see-through cup.
Strawberry Fields travels to the finest special events throughout the United States serving the nation's freshest and purest natural fruit blends and fruit cups that even Dole and Tropicana have tried to copy. But do not be fooled, we are the original not the copy!
